Create this softened, vintage birthday card with:
Watercolor Paper (122959)
Sahara Sand card stock (121043)
Sahara Sand ink pad (126973)
Sahara Sand 7/8" Lace Trim (137866)
Very Vintage Designer Buttons (129327)
Pearl Basic Jewels (119247)
Stampin' Spritzer (126185)
Have fun with either the Textured Embossing Folders or our Very Vintage Designer Buttons and adhesive backed Pearl Jewels. Here a fun twist on this image was to frame it with these lovely accents over the stunning Sahara Sand Lace Trim.
Water-coloring can happen on regular card stock but will have a better image using the Watercolor Paper. Here the image will have a damp, slightly blurred image when you ink the stamp with the Sahara Sand ink pad then (holding it away from your crafting area) lightly spritz it with water using our fine mist Stampin' Spritzer.
Your spritzed image will take on that softened, vintage hand-stamped look.
Stamping it on the Watercolor Paper will absorb the excess water and hold up to the excess of moisture. I did the same thing with the sentiment.
Layered over the stunning ribbon, the adhesive backed Pearl Jewels and Very Vintage buttons add a whimsical accent to the card.
No matter your age, one can appreciate the beauty of a vintage, elegant and beautifully hand-stamped card. This simple spritzing of the rubber stamp will give you a soft and romantic look. Enjoy how easy and fun it is to personalize a hand-crafted card to fit that person you are blessing.
