I was told that I'd never be an artist as a student. Water-coloring was always a go-to as it's so forgiving. Here a simple card gives me a bit of calm and relaxation in the midst of Summer.
How To:
~ Stamp this Sitting Here porch stamp with Black Archival ink on the Watercolor Paper* (always stamp any photopolymer stamp set using a Stampin' Pierce Mat under the paper you are stamping on).
*This paper is designed for water coloring and is thicker, with texture. Apply extra pressure.
~ Using the Aqua Painters color** the porch swing and dog, first. Secondly color in a sky with the Bermuda Bay ink pad and a floor with the Old Olive ink pad.
~ **Remember, it's a sky and grass - there is no perfection - just apply streaks and pull the color across the paper with the Aqua Painters.
~ Tie two Linen Thread pieces around a piece of Chocolate Chip Card stock (1" x 4-1/4").
~ Apply the stamped and colored piece of art onto the Bermuda Bay card stock.
~ Cover the top with the Chocolate Chip piece and move the ties to lay over the porch swing. Use Stampin' Dimensional adhesive to adhere this over the swing.
~ Stamp this pillow on the Daffodil Delight card stock. Add a pop of color with the Tangerine Tango Stampin' Write Marker for fun and interest.
