Created at our recent Card Making at Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters free card class morning - this card was so easy and pretty to create.
Here is how fun and easy to create a thoughtful tree card:
~ Stamp the grass from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Old Olive ink on the Whisper White card stock.
~ Stamp the tree trunk in Chocolate Chip ink into the grass. (Anytime you are stamping with Photopolymer stamps you should have a Stampin' Pierce Mat under your paper for a better stamped image quality.)
~ Stamp your tree top with Old Olive ink pad - because this is a photopolymer stamp set it's easy to see through and is designed for 2-Step stamping (aka layering/building stamps). I love how easily this layers and looks so good with little effort.
~ Stamp the saying first in the corner with the Soft Sky ink pad and then frame out with the lined/breeze looking image in the same Soft Sky ink pad.
~ Adhere the bow-tied silver ribbon with Glue Dots to the tree (I like to roll the glue dots for such a thin ribbon.)
