Blue Roses hand made card making tutorial

I've always dreamed and have even attempted to grow blue roses.. and have had no success. I love that this week on our Facebook.com/GettinCraftyStampin LIVE we did grow a great vine of blue roses - together! I know that it's fun showing others how to fix a boo-boo. Here, on our Facebook.com/GettinCraftyStampin LIVE I had a boo-boo to fix and while pulling helpers in - it was fun to show you how to fix a mistake.

~ Stamp your flower on a piece of sticky-note and fussy cut out with our Paper Snips.

~ Stamp the rose in the center of a corner with Black Archival ink and cover with the mask of a sticky note.

~ Stamp either side - using the mask to cover the center rose.

~ Continue this process through the card to create a vine - turning your hand to create a more free-flowing vine.

~ Stamp your greeting in the Dapper Denim ink.

~ Water color with our Aqua Painters the leaves in the Lemon Lime Twist ink and the roses with the Dapper Denim.

~ Add this stunning Island Indigo Ombre Ribbon using the Glue Dots for a sleek look.

~ Adhere to the card with Fast Fuse adhesive.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
