This time of year, we Californians, receive our smattering of rain. It's WONDERFUL (except people forget how to drive in the rare 'weather' we receive, lol). I love that in Spring, with our rains and gentle weather, we have blossoms in bloom most of the year. Flowers, especially, bring me such joy.. I love my gardens as soon as it starts to warm up again. In honor of this I wanted a beautiful, sparkling flower that reminds me of when the rain kisses those blossoms and sends Warm wishes. Simple elegance, tied up in sparkle and a bow (a Shimmer Bow!). I love how you can create with color, depth and sparkle. The New Spring Occasions Catalog works along side of our Idea Book and Catalog and FREE Sale~A~Bration Catalog.. it's so awesome!!
Create this card by..
~ Stamping the Whisper White card stock (2-3/4" x 3-1/2") with the Lovely Wishes stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. (One Block, All Three Stamps on it, One Application)
~ Color in the flowers with the Stampin' Blends in our Coral Blends combo - I like to start with the lighter of the two and then add the depth along the drawn lines with the darker. (Here I actually had a boo-boo and colored outside of the lines.. and using the Color Lifter removed it - it's so awesome!)
~ Color in the leaves in the same manner.
~ Add sparkle and shimmer with our Clear Wink of Stella glimmer brush.
~ Adhere to the Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper (don't you just love this pack of colorful sparkle?!?!) in a 3" x 3-3/4" piece.
~ Score at 5-1/2" and Cut the Thick Whisper White card stock at 4-1/4". Crease with the Bone Folder.
~ Adhere this with Fast Fuse adhesive to the front of the card.
~ I LOVE FREE! This Triple Shimmer Ribbon Pack is so awesome and FREE with a minimum order.. using the Coral Shimmery Ribbon, tie around the card stock and between the stamped paper and glimmer paper (the Stampin' Dimensionals holding it together make this so easy to do).*
~ Tie a knot twice and trim the edges with an angle.*
Ribbon is sooo awesome but I like to boss it around. Using Mini Glue Dots along the bottom of the ribbon cut edges, create this fluffly tied look and the Glue Dots will hold it in place!
Easy Peasy and So PRETTY!
