Create this stunning Rosette/Lolly using our Simply Scored Scoring Tool.  I LOVE, Love, love the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper!!  This collection of prints and colors are stunning!

Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool lay your sheet of 12"x12" Designer Series Paper on it.  Score all of the 12" page if you want to use multiple strips!  Score at every 1/4" mark and cut a strip at 1-1/2".  Fold and create a Lolly/Rosette using Hot Glue to hold it on the Blackberry Bliss (that is cut down to 5"x3-3/4").

Stamp this sweet pansy from the Flower Shop rubber stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on the Whisper White card stock.  The Pansy Punch is designed to coordinate with this stamp set and makes it easy to pop out the stamped image!  Using Hot Glue to adhere it to the Lolly/Rosette center.

Stamping this 'you made my day' cheer from the A Dozen Thoughts rubber stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  Using my Paper Snips to create this flag end.  Use the Bone Folder to roll the edges for some fun to this card.  What a fun and easy, rich in color and style, hand-stamped card (it was a HIT at the Fall for Fall card class - don't miss out on the many crafting class options and Join the Fun!!).

What a fun card to create for my most recent class!  This interactive card is sure to make others WOW!  Did YOU Miss out on my class?  Don't worry!  CLICK HERE for a full line-up of upcoming classes and CLICK HERE to see about a Private Class!
Stamping this cute little deer from the Very Merry Tags stamp set (#130402 Holiday pg.33).  This set coordinates with punches for easy use!  Chocolate Chip ink (#126979) on Very Vanilla card stock (#101650) then pop out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch (#119850).

Using my Simply Scored Scoring Board/Tool (#122334) I scored this 12" x 6" piece of Season of Style Designer Series Paper (Holiday pg.23 #132340) at every 1/4" groove.  This board makes it so easy and fun to score a ton!  By scoring the full sheet, I then can cut off my 1" strips to create these Lollies/Rosettes.*  Using the 1/2" strip to add an accent piece to the card that will coordinate while having some texture from the Score!

*Adhere the Lolly/Rosette with Hot Glue for strength of hold.. ideal in keeping this an intact piece.
Using our Thinlits Dies, the Circle one creates this perfect moving/interactive base! (Circle Thinlit #133480) Utilizing the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine* (#113439) and Big Shot Magnetic Platform* (#130658) for precision cutting!
See this Video on how to create this 'secret panel' for a wonderful 'present' like feel - they are going to LOVE opening this card!

This neutral Crumb Cake card stock (#120953) is perfect for a warm card that will be FUN to open!
This Thinlit die allows for interaction, fun and can be opened from many angles... just pick!  I like that flipping this on it's side is very much like opening a present!
Adding 1/4" strips of Cherry Cobbler card stock (#119865) ties in and accents the striped paper while lighting up this pretty red, shiny nose!

Simply take our adhesive backed Rhinestones Basic Jewels (#119246) and color them in with a red permanent marker... you now have a little whimsy to this cute card.
I'm so glad that you came by today!  I try to post daily and hope to see you back, often!  Bring your freidns and family along for the fun!!  Want MORE Fun??  Join my Gettin' Crafty Stampin' Mailing List for Bonus Exclusive Projects and Tutorials, Discounts, Gifts and MORE!!

Folded Cheer

I love the idea that a card is a hug with a fold in the middle... here are some folded cards that are sure to cheer someone's day!
See how to do this, step-by-step to create a card that has many folds.... all that are hugs to be sent.
Amazed at how fun and easy it is to change up cards that are similar.  With the same inspiration of our Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper (#129310) two different cards come to life.
Grabbing a 12"x12" card stock and score it with our Simply Scored Scoring Tool (#122334).  Here my Whisper White 12" card stock (#124302) is scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10" score marks on the Simply Scored Scoring Board with the larger end of the Simply Scored Stylus (#125624).

CUT the other side at 5-1/2" with our Stampin' Trimmer (#126889).  This allows for a card near the traditional size.  (4" x 5-1/2" when folded)

FLIP OVER and fold it crisp into it's self with the Bone Folder (#102300).  This is now ready to become any card you may like!
When folded you can decide the different look to the card.  Here the Wildflower Meadow background stamp (#129168) inked with the Island Indigo (#126986) to coordinate with the Gingham Garden paper.

Using Feel Goods (#129684) is full of feel-good sentiments.  This stamp set, used on both cards, is so flexible.  It fits perfectly in the Labels Collection Framelits (#125598) that is held perfectly in place with the Big Shot Magnetic Platform (#130658) on my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439).
Here the Stippled Blossoms (#126747) stamp set gets its colors from the Gingham Garden paper.  Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) is the ideal base for this bright flower.  Layering (with our 2-step stamp system) the second accent stamp with our Melon Mambo ink (#126948).
SCORE the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper on the Simply Scored Scoring Board/Tool with the smaller side of the Simply Scored Stylus at every 1/4".  After scoring the full 12"x12" piece of paper cut  the opposite side at 1" increments.  This now has 12 - 1" scored pieces of paper.

Fold and then hot glue this lolly/rosette.  Adhere it down, too, with the hot glue for a tight hold.

Our Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (#127555) for a neutral bling, adhered to the top of the lolly/rosette.
Belly Band it closed.  Create a band that wraps around using either Designer Series Paper or Card Stock, it slips off  to allow the tri-folded (Double Z) card.
Given the same card stocks, folds, sentiments... you can create a slew of different looks and feels.

Folding cards and projects really allows for versatility and fun!  One of my favorite tools, our Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Simply Scored Stylus.

Sending a hug with this card, this cheer is sure to be received and multiplied.  My kids call this a spy card, that it's full of secrets, lol. The Lolly holds the Belly Band down and ties it all together.

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
