50 Letters of Love Birthday Memory Celebrating Gift

Oh the joys of celebrating life, from the life you live to those who gave you life!  My dear friend, Michelle, joined me to create a wonderful book for her Aunt and another for her Mom.  So this sweet girl went about to gather 50 letters of love and friendship in honor of her beloved Mother's 50th Birthday.  She gathered them and other memories in her Epic Day This and That book.. delivering a wonderful gift that celebrated and documented some wonderful memories in the life of an amazing mom.

Michelle went above and beyond, this sweet and hard working girl (she works multiple jobs while donating her time to lead a young girls soccer team and preparing for college to start).  She snuck in time to create stunning pages of memories, adding in letters that family and friends over the past 50 years of her mother's life contributed to her surprise gift/party.

It doesn't take a million words to show your volume of love.  These This and That journals make it easy to have FUN while celebrating those special moments or people (or both) in your life.

Let love overflow!  Claudia was blessed, beyond measure, by her daughter, this collection of love and her surprise 50th birthday party and gifts (Wow Michelle, you are amazing!).  These books are meant to be overflowing and stuffed full of memories. I love how the This and That Books are not limited to one form of Memory Celebrating... it can document one's life, memories that others had with each other, the love a daughter has for her mother, a child's path in life... the This and That Books are a wonderful way to embrace, celebrate and document life - no matter the stage you are in.

Martha wanted a stained glass look.  The new Corner Garden background stamp (wood 134054/clear 134048) Heat Embossed with Black Embossing Powder for a sharp look.  Color in the flowers (and the butterflies from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set and the coordinating punches) using the Stampin' Write Markers you can create a stunning look that will celebrate your memories and journaling.

The New Little Letters Thinlits (133730) on the Big Shot and Magnetic Platform all of the kids enjoyed naming their books!!  Using cardstocks, Gold Foil Sheets, Glimmer Papers.. they are truly original!! 

 

With the coordinating Designer Stickers make your books 'More Awesome' - easily!!

Tie on some fun - adding ribbons to the edges, doilies and buttons... the kids are stamping and washi-taping their own personalized books!!

This sweet girl, who is 7, had a blast tying on the ribbon accents, stamping this into her new Safari book and then documenting her beloved kitten (who passed away).  She is having fun while celebrating and documenting her life!

OPTIONS!!  The kids are totally enjoying making these books into their own style.  It's a hoot to see them blossom while creating.

(1) Pick YOUR own This and That Book & Order from Jamie at www.GettinCraftyStampin.com These are a great creative outlet for recording your memories. 

(2)  Plan what you want your book used for.  I will attach a sticky note and plan my books and pages (trips, summer, school memories, decoration plans/dreams for the home, prayer journal, movie fan book/info, dates w/ your kids/hubby, Disney/Amusement Park trips, etc. ++)

(3) Print off your Photos (see how to get 100 photos for FREE from me - shipped directly to you!).  Selecting these photos by month, event, etc.  I have a fun one for each child and their adventures w/ family.

(4) Go for IT!  Start by Gluing, Washi Taping and Designer Stickering your photos, memories, tickets, pressed flowers, magazine clippings, hand-prints, recipes, newspaper clippings and more!  Add fun doodles, stickers, stamps, accessories and more!
