I used to be into it... this was before my life became so busy... but Scrapbooking was a fun past time. Sadly, as life became busy and busier with each kid and activity... I found that I took photos but rarely did anything with them (other than email or Facebook them to share them with my family and friends). Are you, like me, guilt ridden over not celebrating the life we lead and documenting our memories?? JOIN ME as Stampin' Up! has partnered with Becky Higgins and Project Life to return to Celebrating our Life Memories in a quick, fun and easy way to look good while documenting our lives!!

THIS!! This is why I am returning to Documenting Our Life. I have a blessed, busy, love and laughter filled life... so when I see my family growing and life passing us by.. I knew I had to do something to capture those memories. Here my 3 year old looked at what I was doing and said to me "Snowman - this is my lil' snowman Momma, here is Sal (her brother), here is Jooowea (Julia - our family friend) and Martha....". She remembers this special time at the lake and feels special to see it in a book. Down the line, when she is 13 and being a challenge (really - later in the afternoon - the challenges aren't far apart) she can look back at a great memory of a time we had as a family.
With these cool cards and the pockets in the scrapbook pages - I can slip in photos from my Groovebook books (see below) and these cool cards with a few notes. The page takes on a life of it's own and the memories tie together to celebrate the life we live!!
The cards are Double Sided so that you can have the opposite and coordinated look on the back of the page - no waste!!
Here one of my dearest friends Christine and her family joined us as did Martha when we were in Big Bear this past March. We had a blast and having the ability to document it makes me so happy!!
Here I celebrate the simple joy of arriving at the lake, visiting our favorite eatery, the beautiful view from our deck off our suite and my addiction and love of coffee - lol. It's all special to me and documenting it happened QUICKLY (a must as I just don't' have the time to do more than just that).
Groovebook may keep my pictures together in a collection of (up to) 100 photos at a time - so they aren't lose and falling about... but Project Life does the same!!
With this small, no wasted space, card holder - I'm not trying to find places for the cards, pens, accessories. Too, it makes for easy travel and storage with ease in finding them easily, too!!
So I love this page... it came together quickly and easily. I wanted to UP it.. make it MORE!! This - this is where Stampin' Up! partnering with Project Life allows me to add my creativity and use my card making and crafting tools (stamps, die cuts and more) to upgrade the page with pretty accents!!
This Perfect Blend stamp set ties in as I stamp the 'Coffee and Friends' sentiment on one card and with my Blendabilites colored coffee cup I adhered this cute new 'die cut' of sorts (I cut it out) but it looks fly and my page is even more personalized!!
EEEEEEE! Yes - I'm JUST THAT EXCITED about this. I look like a rock star mom and God forbid something ever happens to me - I'm leaving behind my love of life and our family behind to be remembered by my kids and future generations!
Adding this soon to retire accessory of the arrow paper clip - it shows on both sides while adding a personal and fun touch. I love that this Project Life, the Love of my Family and my Passion for Rubber Stamping and Crafting tie together to Celebrate our Memories and Life!!

No longer do I (or YOU) need to live under the guilt of not documenting our lives. We can now celebrate and document our lives to leave behind a gift that is better than gold. As I remember my Nanna and her struggle with Alzheimer's - I wish I had documented memories that she'd left behind... now I will be giving this gift to my children and future generations.
