Tie-Dyed Lace hand made birthday card

I love lace. I have a romantic heart embracing lace. Created at our recent FREE Create and Connect over Card Making and Coffee at Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters, we had fun playing with this tie-dyed technique.

Deliver some elegance, sparkle and FUN with this easy to create hand crafted card.

~ Layer the Delicate Details lace stamps onto one clear block.

~ Stamp them onto a 5"x4" piece of Whisper White card stock with the Black Archival ink pad.

~ Using your Aqua Painters, water color across the lace with a varied pattern (have fun - there is no right or wrong here). Start with the lightest color - the So Saffron to the Calypso Coral and into the Bermuda Bay ink pads.

~ Using the vintage and cool Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper cut a strip of 3" by 1".

~ Punch the edge with the Banner Triple Punch.

~ Stamp your greeting from the Birthday Bright stamp set in Black Archival ink.

~ Punch the Bermuda Bay FREE Glimmer Paper with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. (This week's featured crafting supply!)

~ Adhere the tie-dyed lace piece to the Bermuda Bay card stock with Fast Fuse adhesive.

~ Adhere the Celebrate banner and the butterfly with the Stampin Dimensional adhesives

~ Add MORE Sparkle when you use the Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush across the lace.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
