Stamp this birthday greeting using the Black Archival ink pad on the Thick Whisper White card stock.  Color in using the Aqua Painter, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie ink pads for a cute water color look.

Punch the Daffodil Delight card stock with the 1/2", 1" and 1-1/4" Circle Punches to create this punch art cheese accent.  Punch the corners with the 1/2" Circle Punch and layer over the punch-art cheese with the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive (140430) for some depth.

I love facial hair on men.. so this new hipster rage of mustache's really speaks to me!!  With my Italian hubby (who wishes I'd let him shave it all off - yet I love his goatee, lol) and his chromed out facial hair.. this easy, fast, punch-art, hand-stamped card was designed to honor the man who fathered our 6 amazing kids!!  So Happy Father's Day (though this hand-stamped card works for so many reasons) and I 'mustache' you to smile and have a delightful day!!

OK so my husband is a simple man.  He isn't all about the frills.  This clean, warm card is ideal for the father of my kids!  Simply create this Mustache using the NEW Framelit on the Magnetic Platform and Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine!  I know - it is sooo cute!!  Even if you aren't hipster (my hubby isn't) this mustache is a fun way to play!!

 

I LOVE the Bow-Tie look.  Here it's super easy to create!!  I used to make these bows with the aide of my Hot Glue Gun and yes, yes - I'd get burned (Carol - I know you are cringing right now - lol).  With the New Fast Fusion adhesive you can create this punch art bow with ease and it will stay together!!  Simply Punch the same Chocolate Chip Designer Sheet from the Neutrals Stack and use the opposite side!  No waste! 

 

Punch these two Large Ovals out, apply the Fast Fusion adhesive and use your arm in a 'check' motion to stop the adhesive from applying.  (Super strong adhesive in a hand applicator - this check motion with your wrist will break that connection.)

 

Fold the Ovals in 1/2 for each side of the bow.  Add the 3/4" Circle Punched pattern to the center for the 'knot'.  This is an easy 3D bow and with our Ovals Collection Framelits - you can create bows in a plethora of sizes!!

With a busy life of kids, work, home, church, etc - my husband is super dad.  His simple desires (ummm - like Tommy's Burgers, a California Chili Burger/Fry iconic establishment for his Father's Day meal - lol) his love of family and our life - he deserves a card that says it all.  Best Dad Ever - my kids have a dad who sacrafices so much for them... and his simple needs are met with this simple card.  A card doesn't have to be elaborate to mean the world to a person.  I 'mustache' you to have FUN this Father's Day... sometimes it's the simple moments in life that are the best.

Wrap up this gift with this cute sentiment from the Christmas Tagables polymer stamp set.  This silly and wacky stamp set pulled together to create a fun card. 

 

Stamp the 'Absolutely no peeking...' with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White card stock.  Punch with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch and with the Stampin' Sponge in Cherry Cobbler ink.

 

If you are at all like me... tell me NOT to do something??  It is ALL I can do to honor your wishes - lol... I will either end up doing it or just mulling it over until I do - lol.  My ever honest husband would be the one who wouldn't open this card until the 25th and it's STILL Funny!

 

Using a strip of Crumb Cake card stock, create a 'belly band' that will help hold this interactive card closed.  This 'peeking' is a fun way to embellish this card.

With a 4" x 12" piece of Old Olive card stock create this folded card.  (See how with the easy video tutorial below!)  Using the Season of Style polka dot patterned page to frame the belly band and cover the stamped crumb cake card stock inside!

Making this 3"x3" piece of Crumb Cake card stock stamped with 'Do Not Open....' with Cherry Cobbler for a cohesive and quick look.  Having this second piece be slightly smaller allows for it to remain 'hidden'.  With multiple panels giving a fun interactive look... you are sure to WOW while adding a few smiles to this Holiday Season!

When Opened you have 3 interactive panels... continuing the smiles with the Whisper White inside panel that says:

"This gift was handmade so no, no you can not return it!" (It's OK - Giggle here with me - lol.)

National Root Beer Float Day

Ohhhh - Here It IS.... a reason to celebrate, to whip out some Root Beer, Vanilla Ice-Cream and create a vintage drink that is sure to sweeten your day!

Having fun creating this with my 7 year old daughter, it reminds me of my Daddy (as he looks down on us, I'm sure he is smiling).  He introduced me to Root Beer Floats as a child and I STILL Love them (and love any opportunity to share them with my hubby and kids!!).

 

So HAPPY National Root Beer Float Day!!  It is an actual holiday and what a great way to celebrate!

 

So Go For IT... Whip out a Root Beer Float and Create a Card to Celebrate this Holiday!!

Having Cut the Vellum Card Stock (#101856) Score it with our Simply Scored Scoring Tool/Board (#122334) and the Simply Scored Stylus (#125624).  This gives the look of a Frosted mug - much like the ones I grew up with and my dad used for this tasty treat!

Stamping Celebrate Today from the Perfectly Penned (#122892) stamp set for a vintage vibe... the Chocolate Chip ink (#126979) shows so well on this 'frosted mug' while the Chocolate Chip card stock (#102128) resembles a mug full of tasty root beer.

Creating a handle with our Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439)* and Big Shot Magnetic Platform (#130658)* create the perfect frosted mug handle!

Add that "Ice-Cream" and FROTH it with our Very Vanilla card stock (#101650) and the Scallop Oval Punch (#119856). 

Hot Glue Gun to the RESCUE!!  Glue the Handle to the side and then cover with the one side hot glued down... this allows the frosted mug to curve and remind me of the condensation of the cold mug.

Like a Vintage Soda Pop Shop... this sweet card is vintage in theme and brings back such great memories (with out any of the calories!).

My baby girl created this with me in honor of this Sweet National Root Beer Float Day holiday!

Have a Tweet Spring Break!

This busy mom has a house full of crazy lil birds - lol... as our schools celebrate the end of this trimester and give a week long 'break' to celebrate Spring and Easter... I couldn't resist spreading some cheer with this Tweet treat! lol...

 

Using my kids' index fingers and creating these fingerprint chick (dipping their fingers in our Daffodil Delight stamp pad these lil guys come to life!). 

 

Using our Tangerine Tango Stampin' Write Markers to create these beaks... the 7/8" scallop circle punch creates little buttons!

Layering over our FREE Sale~A~Bration Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper punched out with the 1-1/2" scallop circle punch.. they are perfectly layers and oh so cute!!

Using my Printer and Word program I typed up this Have a Tweet Spring Break and punched out the sentiment - again it's centered over this pretty FREE paper!!

HERE are two of my youngest little Spring babies...

Winnie the Pooh, how do you do?

How Do You Do, Winnie the Pooh?  I Love this lil guy and his band of friends!  He DOES deserve a day all to his own!  TODAY IS IT!!

 

 

National Winnie the Pooh Day
This beloved collection of stories, first published in 1926, was inspired by the teddy bear of author A.A. Milne's son, Christopher Robin, who himself became one of the stories' characters. The original Winnie-the-Pooh (and hyphens too!) was named for Winnie, a black bear at the London zoo, and Pooh, a swan Christopher encountered while on vacation. While one might expect this naming combination to lead to a sort of bear/swan hybrid in Milne's stories, the result was actually the adorable honey-loving bear we've all come to know and cherish.

 

 

So, with my Color Coach, Big Shot, some Punches, Stampin' Write Markers and the Carry On stamp set this cute little card came to life!

 

 

Using the (Of Course!) Honeycomb Embossing folder from the Spring Mini, the Apolocary Framelits and the Bigh Shot... the English 'Keep Calm' ties this pounched Winnie the Pooh into his 'heritage' and histroy!  I hope that YOUR Day is Honey Sweet!
